These are a few of my favorite things.

Hey, look. I'm blogging again. It's a good sign. Or maybe it's a sign that I'm not really reading my research and statistics book.

I made it through my first week of graduate school. Success! I may have a little bit more anxiety added now BUT I am confident in my abilities. Just ya know... intimidated. I need to make a list of things I want to talk about here because this is not making any sense so I will just jot a few things down.

WINE. I had some today... it was delicious. I went to Arbor Crest (www.arborcrest.com) today with a classmate, Jen, and did some wine tasting, viewing the beautiful scenery, and just hanging out. It was absolutely gorgeous. The woman who helped us was super friendly and I just loved her! I also had an ulterior motive; I wanted to see if it would be a good wedding venue. The answer to that is: heck yes. No, we are not engaged yet so don't be all excited haha. I will be going back there again before it is cold.

ANIMALS. What, that's weird. I am just thinking about the Second Annual Mutts and Monsters 5k and how awesome it's going to be. Check out the website: http://www.muttsandmonsters.blogspot.com and if you are in the Hays, KS area (or will be), participate! You can also sponsor, advertise, donate and volunteer (and more), as well. The first one was part of my brain child and leadership project last fall. I'd encourage you to learn more about this fabulous organization. http://www.westernplainsanimalrefuge.org Look at the websites and also check out the Facebook pages, as well.

IG. If you want to follow my (mostly) daily life in pictures, check out my Instagram. My profile is set to private so you have to request to follow me. My username is 'gethyfault' Yes, so original. There isn't much to say here. I like this app... I follow a lot of fitness and fashion pages. Because that is what I do. So, so vain.

Don't judge me.

A whole new me

Okay, so not really a whole new me. But different since I haven't posted on this since before my 21st birthday and I am almost 6 months past my 22nd. I'm trying to decide why I still have a blog. I haven't posted on it since February of 2011. So let's see... people who are reading this already know me most likely.
As you know, I am going to graduate school at GU here in Spokane for Community Counseling. I actually start TUESDAY! I am equally excited and nervous because I know it will be challenging, emotional, and a lot of work. But I also know it is going to be one of the most rewarding experiences of my life!

So since May I have: graduated, went to Ireland/Northern Ireland, went camping, watched the dogs swim and play in the river a lot, went to an IMAX movie (batman!), moved across the country with two uhauls/dogs/vehicles, started a new job, did orientation for grad school, had our three year anniversary, ate too much food, joined a gym, got a new computer, got my jeep fixed, got my eyebrows reshaped, took my dogs to get 'posh paws' at Petco, ate some of the best fruit I've ever had, did some salsa dancing, partied at a gay club, went shopping, bought curtains and a sweet rug, moved Drew back to KS =( [just for the semester, tho], surprised my family by coming home for a couple days, drove back across the US, zip lined over a mountain canyon, rode an alpine coaster down a mountain, went to an off leash dog park and got dragged two feet by my dogs resulting in 'road rash' [interesting story], watched pretty much every episode of Nip/Tuck, flew back to WA from KS, put Tyson on a diet, walked across the bridge over Spokane Falls, hiked around a national (or maybe state) park, got up at 5-5:20 am almost every single day =O... annnnd plenty more.

So yes, I have had a great summer. I am ready to start grad school! I don't know anyone here (besides D & R and Erin and her little boys) and I have no friends so hopefully I will make friends in school. Not that I will have time to have a social life outside of school and school functions, anyway... haha.
And maybe I will resurrect this blog. Or maybe I will post on it once a year.

Who knows.
